6 Myths That Impede Your Progress

6 Myths That Hinder Your Progress

It’s very easy to stay in your comfort zone, being satisfied with your achievements and making up a thousand excuses not to try a little harder and fight for your dreams.

Your comfort zone offers security, tranquility and allows you to “feel comfortably happy”, but it doesn’t let you move forward. Sometimes what stops you is within yourself. You just need to identify your real enemy.

There are some myths that we see as absolute truths, but they are just imaginary. If they establish themselves in your life, they can do a lot of harm. Discover the myths I’m talking about here, eliminate them from your life, and move on. This is the time to eliminate false ideas and achieve everything you set out to do.

Myth #1. Now I can’t, but soon I’ll have time.

You will never have enough time. The time to do this is now! You must stop thinking that the time will come, because the opportunities are gone… This is your time, this is your time, you must start with a plan now. It’s great to plan the order of things, but you must act. When you act, you realize that you can, yes, now.

Myth #2: Others will do it for me

Can you do any better! Stop allowing others to do the things you want. Your future is yours and you must chase after it. Let go of self-indulgence and start acting. The people around you can help and accompany you, but the action must be yours. The dream you are chasing is yours and only you can achieve it.

Myth #3: This job is not my height

Never think that you are too much, nor that the opportunity presented is far below your capabilities. If it’s work you need to do to reach your goal, you must do it. You must not feel that you are not “fit” to do this work.

If you think like that,  you should go out on a starry night and see who you are in the universe. You will see that there are a multitude of stars shining in the universe and that you can be one of them. Maybe the one that shines brightest, but you must do all the jobs before judging them.

Myth #4: I must help others first

You must be first. I know it sounds a little selfish, but it’s about time you thought about yourself. Helping others is great and always comforting, but you should also be concerned about yourself.

If you are one of those who set aside your desires and goals to help others, this is the time to worry about yourself. Pursue your big dream, your true happiness. If you are not happy, you will hardly be able to help those around you.

Myth #5: I must avoid conflicts

Life is full of conflicts. If you want to live and really enjoy life, you must face this reality. The world, as we know it, is the result of conflict resolution. If you don’t face them, you can’t solve them. Avoiding them is standing still, letting life go by and letting others decide for you. This is one of the most established myths.

You must take action, face the internal or external conflicts that arise. You will always win, right or wrong. It is always possible to reach an agreement that includes both parties. You must enter a battle to conquer your dreams.

Myth #6: Those who succeed are lucky

The successful ones went out to win. Those who were successful began to act without letting time pass. Those who have been successful have done things themselves and have done all kinds of work and sacrifice to achieve their dreams. They were able to help others, but they did not stop working towards their goal and were concerned themselves with the fate of their lives. They faced many conflicts, but they knew how to learn at the end of each one of them and always came out victorious.

No luck, they worked to be in this place and you will also get there if necessary.

Don’t let these or other myths paralyze you. Review your comfort zone, detect what things you are accepting. Take off all the veils and go out to demystify these supposed truths.
